I am looking for a correct Ford dash pot and bracket for my 1968 GT - The carburetor is a Holley 600 cfm so the dash pot for the 428 or 427 motors is not correct. Per the Master Lincoln Mercury Parts Catalog the part number is C8OZ-9B549-A or Motorcraft CD-17. The bracket number is C8OZ-9B550-A. There are a few on internet sites that indicate the 428 dash pot fits the 390 motor but the pictures of the dash pot seem different.

Attached is the best picture I could find that I assume is the correct dash pot as found on Mustangtek.com.

Royce,

Thanks again! I did not think of changing out the base piece so a more universal Holley dash pot can work. I tried a factory base off a latter Autolite 2V carburetor and it did not fit.

The Autolite dashpot just doesn't fit or work. I tried that too.
