What is the proper way to remove the stainless steel trim along the drip rails above the side windows on a 1968 Cougar? What tools are needed to remove the trim.

When I removed mine I used a small piece of wood and tapped up on it. It came right off that way.

I used an old style bottle opener using the square end just pop it off like you would a bottle cap. I have had mine off twice and done several others that way. If your trim is real nice you can put a rag in between the opener and the trim.
