Hello,

'67 standard being held prisoner at the garage it will not pass state inspection because the mirror housing itself will not hold it's position at the neck of the mount.

Has anyone had this problem and is there a fix for it? or have one for sell?

WCC and other site have replacements but none available for 3 or so weeks.

Edit: This is the side-view mirror, attached to the door.
Thanks,
Don

"Are talking about the outside or inside mirror?"

Outside mirror, original post edited to clarify

Thanks,

Simple... Remove the mirror and tighten the bolt located inside the hollow mirror stem. Very common problem. If that will not work we have decent used mirrors in stock.

Tried it but the mirror (housing) flops like one of those Bobble-head dolls.

All the mirrors on the WCC site show "out of stock" (new, repro and used) for the '67, (unless I'm missing something) makes it hard to order...

are you sure we are on the same page---there is ascrew @ the foreward facing chrome "bullet" that tightens the mirror head to the bullit---there is a large philips head screw that you must remove the mirror base from the door to and look inside to tighten
