Thanx. As much as I love my 2000. I'm planning on getting 1967 when I can scratch together some extra cash.

After seeing all the late-80's and early-90's cats in town, I like the new body style, but the engine's too small. The only thing in my family with a 6 is the 98 pony, and none of us really like it.... maybe it needs more motor. If I ever have enough cash, I'm gonna try & fit a v8 in one of these new edge cats, just for kicks.

i can understand where your coming from there but i beat alot of v8's with my 6. you can buy the conversion kit for a mustang chassis and then you'll have a v8 cougar but otherwise your looking at big dollars to switch the motor and drivetrain etc... but if ya got the money do it..i wanna take her for a spin though...heheh.

edit: our motors were designed by porsche to so they got spunk. put some work into em and they got more but what sucks it being a limited model not many aftermarket places wanna invest in the parts and the ones that do nail ya with the price. $5000 for a turbo, almost $4000 for a supercharger than all the other work ya gotta do for em to run properly with it. not cheap.
