it was this one (5 spd) or a "red" one she was looking at ... didn't want this one at first because of the stick ... when she drove the auto we almost started looking for other 'verts .... then she decided to try out the 5 spd ... as soon as she hit the "go button" her cheeks musta hurt cause her smile got so big .... it also has the Mach 1000 stereo in it .... AWSOME sound !!!

The red one was NOWWHERE near as sharp looking

Thanks .... I LOVE that blue ... sharpest color they have ... I would like to put it on my Coug but then I would be "copying" her car ... which motor did the '98 have ... 4.6 ??? or was it still the 5.0 ??? I really like that 4.6

The 98 had the quad cam 4.6 .. Very sweet engine..

NIIIIICE ... around 310 horses??? like the Mach 1 engine is now ... hers is the single cam but it's got giddyup .... I would LOVE to get me hands on a cobra even for just a day (one of the 390 hp ones ..... drool)

I test drove an 04, very nice, very quick and very expensive... Almost $40k for the vert.. It's one of my "lotto" cars.... lol

yep I hear that .... I was looking at the Anniversary Verts (I think they were '03's ??? ) VERY sharp ... red and black leather in a red vert with that REAL nice material for the top ....

My in-laws just bought the 40th anniversary 'vert in white and gold with the tan leather. I was pretty impressed with the performance from just the 16 valve 260 horse motor. I can't imagine what the 32 valve 305 horse feels like.

I know and the Cobra has like 390 horse .... ever try the 50 on the dash trick???? (actually for us it'd have to be more like a $5er on the dash (c; ) she wants to supercharge this one (also has the 260 hp motor) ... I'm one of the lucky few whose wife has the sickness !!!!

That sounds like a real nice color combo they have ... have ya tried to get them to paint it orange yet??? I LOVE that orange on yours ... it's in the running for final coat color on mine
