damaged fender

pulled from the car. found a free fender to replace but it has a small square turn signal. is it possible to cut a hole for the larger turn signal and still look good?

Well if the shape and the lines are the same between them, it could be a 67 fender that someone once have fitted a aftermarket or different style sidemarkerlight on.
Just take off the marking light on your bendt fender, and you'll see how that hole is cut out, see if there are any flanges that should be there originally to make it fit, if there is supposed to be flanges for the light to sit in, it's easy to swap fender with someone that has a proper year fender to swap with you, like Don Rush at www.classic-cougar.com
