Very cool. I see a lot of these projects give up on the sheet metal 'details' towards the end. Keep on plugging and you will have something truly special!

Thanks GT, that means alot. I could easily see how somebody could lose drive at this point of the build.

1.50 .25 wall main tubes are in. Still need to tie in the winch mount and skid plate reinforcing tubes. Once that is all mocked up we will box the Original Cougar mounting brackets and start in on the end caps and fender armor.

Health has been in the crapper lately so not much progress... Started back on the front end, hoping to get more done tomorrow.

    Re: Project RoadKill

Probably the last post for a while... Over did it yesterday and today, with surgery just a few days away the docs don't want me taking any pain relievers... Once I'm back on my feet, I'll probably start on the transmission rebuild followed by the engine upgrades. Hunter's gonna try and finish up the front end tube work and get the drivetrain pulled while I'm down. Here are a few pics of the front end as of today, The bumper is designed to not only protect the front end, but we worked in some goodies. The lower "valance" section is sloped and twisted in such a way as to push any small trees and shrubs down and out away from the body and front suspension. We wrapped the lower fenders to armor it up a bit and to also push organics out of the way, Keep in mind she will also be sporting 1.5 x 2.50 wall slider/nerf bars to do the same thing along the remainder of her body...
