My 69 Sport Special has the painted steel rims matching the body color with Turbine wheel covers. The Bias Ply F70-14s look great but handle terribly. I am considering sticking with the stock 14 wheels, but was wondering about what size radial tire at 14" will fit without rubbing. I know availability for 14" radials is limited. Thoughts?
215/70/14 will be fine.
Don't worry about 14" tire availability. They'll be around. Might not be the brand you want, but you'll be able to get them. At the very least a BFG T/A which is a good street tire.
You my need a 1/4 inch spacer in the front with a 245/60-14. Mike
