1980-1995 Super Ford Magazines

I recently came into posession of some back issues of Super Ford magazine. They range from 1980 to 1995. I do not have every issue. With one exception I only have one copy of each issue. The price is $5.00 for each issue, shipping is additional and would depend upon how many you want and your location. I know that I can put at least 3-4 in a flat rate priority mail envelope for about $5.00. Or if you are close enough you may pick them up with no shipping. Quanities over 5 issues and I will discount the price.

If you could please, I bought AlphaCat from a classified in the back of Super Ford in late-'82 -early 83-ish timeframe. '73 XR-7, 351C-4V, etc.. From someone in the Dayton OH area... I have no idea which issue the ad appeared in. I know I read the ad in my buddy's magazine at the bowling alley (winter sport here), and I drove it home in an ice storm...and the heater core blew...NO FUN!

Anyway, I'd love to have that issue of the magazine!

nice find and was a great mag. found this about John at http://www.fordmuscle.com/forums/gar...-magazine.html

actualy John opened a repair shop after selling rights to Super Ford to peterson publishing in the same building he built Super Ford magazine I knew John very well as a young man when I was in HS and helped out when he built a couple of his starliners I was lucky enough to get all issues in mint condition along with some posters and some spec sheets he still had lying around I haven't herd anything about John since 1994 unfort He used to come into the dealership I worked at back then for parts but Peter Koch Lincoln Mercury has since been long gone and I left there in 1994 that's all i know so far does anyone know what happened to the artist who did all the art work and t-shirts super ford used to sell ? is his art work still out there ?

Super Ford was the best Ford magazine ever. I started subscribing in April 1980 and have every issue up to when John sold it. I have them in Super Ford Magazine binders that I ordered. Also have some from after he sold it and a few issues of Super Ford Parts Exchange that I bought separately from an ad in Hemmings I think it was. I sure would like to have one of the GT-E drinking mugs JP used to advertise for sale.
Other Super Ford Item I have is a GTE shirt, A 70 Cougar shirt and somewhere a "427 the ultimate wedge" shirt. Maybe a few collectors series pages too.

I went through what I have from Aug 82 to April 83. The only thing that I could find in the cars for sale section was this in the April 83 issue.

1972 Cougar, org 351 OHO, 275 HP, mechancial tappett fully blueprinted, 5000 stall converter, 5.67 detroit locker, $5250 904-383-0655

That is the only 71-3 Cougar in the cars for sale section. I did not read through all the parts for sale ads so if it was a part of a parts ad I would not have seen it.

Thanks for looking. Like I said, I can't remember when it was... might have been '83-84???

The car was bone-stock back then, and original paint that was just about worn through... I think I paid $1200 for it.

Looking. Found some neat ads! Will tell about them later (in another thread). So far the only 73 Cougar I've found is Nov 84, page 58 but it's a convertible. XR7 4 speed 1550.00 716-822-3453
