I’m going to be replacing just about everything for my rear drums on my 68 xr7 and was wonderful if I could just buy a 68 mustang kit?

Depends on the width of the brake shoes. I just6 go with the Cougar specific kit.

The Mustang kit would be the same if the engine size is the same. You would not for example be able to use a 200 six cylinder Mustang kit on a 302 Cougar.

It also helps to have one of these on disc or in hard print. Lots and lots of info.

I'm getting ready to do the same and am looking for a recommendation from someone who has done a complete 4 wheel disc kit. Need to add some stopping power so the wife will ride in it.
