What went in a rectangular space under dash pad

I own a 69 convertible. On the passenger side there is rectangular place that something is missing. Maybe a light or vent would of been in this spot. Its right above the glove box bottom side of dash pad. Id like to order it if anyone could tell me what goes there.

If it is the space I think you are referring to it would have had one of three things.

If your car is an XR 7 it would have a map light without a switch as the switch is one of the 4 switches in the center of the dash pad.

If your car is a standard it would have either a block off plate or with the courtesy light group optional map light assembly with a switch.

The pigtail to plug into is in the main wiring harness assembly if you want to add it to a standard that did not come with the courtesy light group.
