    67 XR7 ignition wiring help!!!

Hi. I am new to the forum. I just picked up a 67 XR7 with a 351C in it. Engine turns over but looks as if the previous owner has made a mess of the wiring so I cant get spark. Has a Mallory Unilite distibutor and just swapped out the regulator and coil. I have included pictures of the wiring and hoping someone can help me figure out what is going on. I dont see the balast resistor wire and think someone tried to bypass the tachometer. Swapped out the battery, starter, fuses, plugs, wires but cant get this girl to turn over.

What is the voltage at the coil with the key on?

What is the voltage at the coil with the key turned to "START"?

Re: 67 XR7 ignition wiring help!!!

Had a similar issue w my 1970 351C, turned over but would not start. Tried everything (replaced plugs, points, condenser, coil, gas, etc!) Problem was a 6 month old distributor. Replaced it and now running great!
