    Gavin,

I know this is pathetic, but I have not been on the forums in a loooong time.

I apologize. If you need anything for your car, (including mats) I promise I will do some research for you. I had to literally mothball my project for years, and I am finally trying to get everything back up and running.

If you don't respond, I understand. Hope everything is going well for you and you still have your car.

    Cheers!

    Gavin,

I am so sorry, but i never visited my personal page until just now. So i never knew i had a messsge from anyone. I have 3! So at least 3 people think i'm an arrogant jerk..

Anyway, if you still need the floor mats let me know. I did see them in black, but i havent looked recently. I will be happy to do some digging for you as my way of apologizing.

Again, sorry. I'm really not a jerk! Just clueless, is all.

    Jeff

Hi Gavin, hopefully you are still a Gator otherwise this might be a short conversation! Had my G about a year, restored a GT-E before it. Here are some pics for you:

hey Gavin. I did strip it down to the original primer in most places and to metal where I had to do body work. Then primed the whole car with an epoxy primer and believ it or not I actually took ito Merical Auto pait shop to have them do a final sanding and paint the color. They charged me $2500.oo. not to bad of a paint job either if I do say so.

Hey GavinS, I went to Facebook and checked out your site. Pretty freakin' cool! Right now I am using a brother of mine's computer so I do not have access to ANY of my photos. I really like those "new" Cougar drawings! Damn, why couldn't they have put the car out and then shut the doors if need be??? Of course, I wouldn't have the money to buy a new so I would have to wait until I could find a used one!

What time is a good time to get you on the phone? Let me know - I would like to talk with you!

    Thanks,

Gavin, how are you doing? About the diamond blue G, I still have it but I repainted it. I couldn't stand the color. This is the second G I have owned and the first one was that color also. I just couldn't take it,rare car or not so I painted it the optional color in 68, calypso coral. There's only a few colors I don't like on these cars and diamond blue is just one of them. When I first got it my wife wouldn't drive it, and I drove it to my buddy's house and his wife said nice car but a little girlie. Not to mention the first show I took it too it got about 0 attention. It didn't bother me to change the color, I'm the one that has to drive it. I'll let the next owner put it back if thats what they want. I almost contacted Brian about your car before you bought it, great buy. If you would like email direct, because some times I don't see my messages on here. Take care.
