We just picked up a 1968 Cougar to build into a track car. It will be a very cool project:

Full cage
4.6L Mod motor
T45 Trans
Fuel cell
Race gear

Looking to see if anyone wants to lend a helping hand or donate parts to the project. We have a limited budget to work with. If interested please contact me at dbutts151ATgmail.com

Car is located in Redwood City, CA

Thanks!

Well the car is stripped and heading out for a cage. We have decided to leave the side glass in for storage reasons. Anyone in NorCal have a full set of door handles/window cranks with hardware (retaining clips etc.)? We're also going to need side mirrors, alot of missing front body hardware, front bumper and rear valance.

Thanks!

Hey, very cool derek! Can't have too many vintage Cougars running around on race tracks, as far as I'm concerned!

Since yours is a '68, take a look at the Bud Moore Baby Grand '68 Cougar.

Is this going to be an open track car? NASA, SCCA? Who's doing the cage?

Please give us your banking account number and routing number, my rich uncle from Nigeria will deposit $3,000,000 in your account within a week.

I don't need that! I just got an email from heineken_project66 saying I won GBP 750,000:00 GBP (Great British Pounds)

Almost convincing... except companies do not contact you via email for things like this.
