What kind of glue do you use to attach trunk weather stripping. That's all thanks - Chad
P.S. I got my seats back today. They look good, but they're the standard pattern not the XR-7 pattern. I'll get them re done in the ture XR-7 style and in leather... when I win the lotto.

Chad,

Last I heard 3-M still makes what they call (get this) Weatherstrip Adhesive. How's that for a creative product name. ;) Those who have worked with this stuff before refer to it as gorilla snot. :p Very sticky yellow stuff in a tube.

Check your local full-service parts store (ie. one that carries bodyworking supplies) and you'll be in business.

Yeah, I used the 3M weatherstrip adhesive and it works like a champ, very effective stuff.

They also make a "Super Weatherstrip Adhesive", I guess it's better.

The only thing I notice is the "Super" comes in black, so it doesn't show
as badly if the snot oozes out from under the weatherstripping.

on the hood to cowl seal do you use any glue, or do you just pin it on with those plastic jobbers?
