Hey boys, I have a crafstman 25 gal 2 stage compressor rated at 5.1 scfm @ 90psi. The gun I have is a devilbiss startingLine hvlp that requires 13.0 cfm @30 psi for 10 psi at the cap. Will this combo work for painting bc/cc? It worked just fine for priming.

I have sprayed with a [email protected] compressor, just stayed away from the hotter reducers. Had to use a dessicant dryer, because the constant running of the compressor....spitter.

should be ok if you dont try to shoot the whole thing at once, let it build back up periodically, make sure you have some sort of dryer or water seperator though, these summer months create humid air in compressors.

Yeah - that's not a big enough tank for an HVLP not to work it's a$s off....go easy on it, put down some drop down (bleeed off tubes w/valves) just before the air dryer/filter to help catch condesate - drain frequently during use. A panel at a time it will do OK. I beieve that is 10 PSI at the cup with the trigger pulled.....a gob of air
