    67 cougar xr7 for sale

I am selling my '67 xr7. I am the second owner. I have had the car since 2003. It is mostly original and has been garage kept its whole life. It is a 289 c code with factory a.c. and all ca emissions still on it. Everything works and the car drives well. It is one of the earliest production xr7's in the national data base. I have all original paperwork including window sticker, temp registration, warranty cards, key tags with envelopes etc. The original owners even kept logs of fuel milage at every fill up into the late 1980's with dollar amounts etc. and I have all of these too. There is too much to say about the car here, so contact me if you wish. It is the cinnimon frost car on Don Rush's online catalouge. asking 13,000.00 Thanks Jim Fischer jim@sunsetdesign.com

Jim, if your car is as nice throughout as it looks in your sig pic, you'll probably do better on eBay with lots of pics than anywhere else.

When I sold Cheshire Cat (a Glacier Blue/Dark Blue XR-7 J-code automatic) on eBay in 2006, it sold for $20K. I've only seen a few touch that level since and none of them were 2V cars, but you're also not looking for that kind of money. Your asking price as a BIN seems reasonable to me if the car photographs well throughout.

In case you missed it on the other thread. If I had the extra $$$ right now, I'd buy your car in a heartbeat.

WOW, WOW, that is one beautiful car. I love it man. I would get that in a hop and a skip if I had that cash. I hope it goes to a good home.

Not yet on underhood, I rely on my kids for everything computer related, but it is super clean underhood too, all original parts and pieces including the little battery to fender piece etc. Mercury tag on a.c. compressor, all ford belts and hoses, new heater core as of about 2004. All emission components for ca pkg hooked up and working. I will see if I can get one of my kids to post underhood shots by tommorow p.m. Thanks, J.F.

Your car looks amazing, the paint job is very very nice. It looks even better with the new tires. I don't think you could buy one and get the quality of fit finish for less. This car sells itself. Can't wait to see pics of the motor.

Well, 570 times someone has looked at the old girl and I have gotten 2 people to e-mail me about the car. Time to take it out, lift it up and photograph the under side and motor. Now, if I can just get my kids to help me with the posting of the pictures again. I wish I wasn't so freaked out about E-Bay. I see lesser cars on there for more money. I wonder if anything is selling? I thought 13k was a darn good price. This car shows just as nice in person. ??? J.F.

I would give it about a week per thousand dollars of price over $3000, to sell. You need to list this on as many different sites as possible.

The response you are getting is not a reflection of the car or the price, but simply the number of people that need to see the ad to find some one who is interested an in the market.
