Thanks for the kind words Don. It's always a pleasure getting together with you and Lin at Carlisle. And this year you brought some extra help, great meeting you too Brian.

Well, since we are on the subject of the CCOA please allow me to say a few things. I volunteered to take over the reins of the club from Scott Ferguson last fall. I believe that Scott simply came to a point of burnout plus he had a lot of other things that he needed to take care personally. We've made more than our fair share of mistakes. I believe that we have learned from them. Many of you are probably sitting there reading this and saying "I don't see anything happening. Nothing is different." Perhaps not on the surface but there is a lot going on in the background.

We have a good team of people on the BOD. And we have a lot of ideas. Now we just need to get them in gear. We are working on it.

I still believe that the CCOA has a lot to offer the Cougar community. The best part of the CCOA is the people. And after all is that not one of the best things that many of us have found, meeting new friends, sharing our Cougar experiences, swapping a few tall tales, a little bench racing, a little BSing, etc.

In the end this is not just my club. It belongs to each and every one of us. It will be what we make it. I hope that you will continue to support the club. Thank you.
