Spammers

Alright... Someone should actually send me an email or use the report to moderator feature! Didn't realize that many spammers were registering...

I've stopped the automated registrations, and will be manually approving them. Also banned a few domains from registering which will help as well.

Next time, just email or use the report to moderator button! :):bandit:

Ummm, Logan? I did use the red 'alert moderator' button every time I saw one of those spammer messages. I can't help it if you've deserted us and don't pay attention to those messages.... :1poke: Or maybe the 'alert moderator' function was turned off???

I've tried the "Alert Moderator" button myself a few times to no effect.

But, overall, I still love the site and am very thankful that its available for us Cougar folk.

You have 26 total out of 250 allowed.
Are those remaining messages that I didnt get part of that spam control or whats the deal?

That just means you have 26 Pm's (Private Messages) in your folder right now, and you can have a total of 250 PM's.

My Bud has a Webcast Radio show and he manually registers his members to prevent spammers.... good idea. "Hassle though"
