I'm just starting my research on what I hope will become a 1970 Cougar convertible project. Searching ads for project cars, meeting people who can mentor me. I just wanted to say Hi, since you are obviously a convetible guy. Do you have any tips on finding cars? Also, I found a post on another message board from a guy who is converting a coupe to a convertible. I wanted to ask if that idea is intrinsically crazy, or just more trouble than most people consider it worth.
Also, what's the big deal about Eliminators? They are going for 2-3 times what base models sell for. Are the suspension upgrades that much better, or is this just a collector's premium?
What's going on Pat?
I got the MO today thanks. Is that you Eliminator? Very nice.

The show in Palatka was great. It was supposed to rain, but not a drop. My car took first palce in the 1960-1969 class. The show is at the Putnam fair grounds every 3rd Sunday. I will be out of town in October, and I will be at the Turkey Run at the International Speedway in Daytona in November.
You just made beer come out of my nose! I am still laughing...
I will now require proof of incurable rust and a death certificate for all donor parts.
